Yeah, that's how i see how much nurses our country has. there's just so many of us. most hospitals are packed! they have enough staff nurses, volunteers and add the affiliating students...it's so hard to get any hospital experience when you guys are competing for work.
so scarcity in work..scarcity pa sa income. some volunteers don't get paid (allowance) *coughs* and the work they do is like staff work already *cough.cough.cough* ..overtime and all that jazz. pag nga naman gusto mo na magpaka nurse noh?
My 3 months in the very first hospital i ever volunteered to work at is about up...it'll all be over next week. that's why i've been so bothered. thinking about applying for other hospitals again. darn. unemployed nanaman. volunteer parin. ugh! must not lose hope...go nurses parin, magpakatatag tayo!
and started reading last night. Amazing how the story made me forget about the stuff i was fussing about earlier. What made me stop reading though was the fact that I was already sleepy and the last few words I read just sent chills down my spine that I thought if I read on and fall asleep I might get nightmares. It wasn't gruesome. I'll find out tonight.
